Blueberries

Apple

One

Walnuts

A handful

Kale

A cup

Curcumin

One teaspoon

Flaxseeds

one spoon

Optional:

one beetroot. It gives the smoothy a deep-sweet taste and it improves oxigen flow in the brain.

 

How to do it & tips

 

Mix all ingredients in blender and drink it slowly.

 

Why?

 

Blueberries, apples, and kale are rich in flavonoids which have potential to protect neurons against injuries induced by toxins, to promote memory and to suppress inflammation. Curcumin is a must in this smoothy since it has an effect on amyloid plaques in the brain and can delay degradation of neurons. It also has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Walnuts and flaxseeds are a great source of omega3 which have anti-inflammatory properties as well.
