Comment about mixing vegetables and fruits

There has for many years been an idea that it is not good to mix fruit and vegetables. The argument is that the enzymes for digestion are different in fruits and vegetables and might cause digestive problems. Here are two links on the topic, one that says you shouldn’t mix and another which says that it is not a problem as long as it feels right for you.

I have never had any problems with my digestive system after mixing fruit and vegetables. Whatever I feel for I mix into my morning shake. However, I have a strong digestive system, and if you believe you are more delicate, it would be smart to start with fewer ingredients and see how it works for you.
